Do you feel the call for help but know in your heart you cannot make the time commitment to be a stable face in a child's life? You can still make a difference by donating to support our volunteers and children. Our program depends on grants and generosity as Illinois is one of only six states that does not receive funding from tax based dollars. RIGHT NOW our legislative leaders are determining our state's budget for next year and we are hoping Illinois CASA will be a part of it. Last year CASA programs provided over 148,971 hours to serve over 4,740 abused and neglected children. This is equivalent to a $16,386,810 in taxpayer savings based on a minimum attorney's fee of $100 per hour.
