To all our CASA Readers:
The inspiring book One Kid at a Time is offered to CASA advocates online for reading and in-service training credit. We also have a copy in the office for you to borrow. Written by Jake Dekker, this book chronicals Mr. Dekker's adoption of a troubled 10 year old foster child. This child had been abused, abandoned, neglected, over-medicated, and described to Mr. Dekker as a "thrown away" kid. CASA volunteers can read this book free at jakedekker.com/casa.
