2011 Casas for CASA
Our 2012 winners were drawn on December 22, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. by Santa.
SPECIAL thanks to our "elves" for transporting our playhouses to the mall:
Vernell's Interstate Service Cook Portable Warehouse Campbell's Towing & Repair
CASA playhouses are designed and built by students from schools in Williamson County. The students donate their time and efforts towards making these remarkable houses for the abused and neglected children of Williamson County. In addition to the students, over 300 volunteers were needed to sell tickets for the houses. CASA playhouses were on display at the Illinois Star Centre Mall for the annual holiday fundraiser. The event raised over $21,000 in support of local CASA services to assist abused & neglected children in Williamson County. This year, a doghouse donated by the Marion Regional Humane Society was also featured.
